Swindon Young Musicians is a sub section of SMS and delivers out-of-school musical Groups, orchestras and ensemble opportunities as well as out-of-school instrumental & vocal tuition.

Swindon Music Festival – The object of the Swindon Music Festival is to advance the education of the public in the Arts, and in particular the Art of Music, in all its forms. The Festival provides a platform for amateur performance combined with an educational element from professional musicians.

Swindon Borough Council – occasionally offers commissioning opportunities for music activities to support their aims and pledges.  Swindon Music Service is also a members of the sub group working with a range of partners to develop a participations strategy for the borough. SBC also provides an ex-officio trustee to sit on the charity’s board of trustees.

Regional Organisations

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO) offers outreach educational programmes through our hub partnership.  An example is the GCSE live concert looking at selected works chosen for the exams

Associate Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) is an International exam board offering graded exams for instrumental & vocal pupils.  Make Music Swindon works in partnership with the ABRSM to provide C&YP in Swindon the opportunities to sit the exams.
